I use it all the time! A must-have!

It is perfect for my studies but... The accent is very strong & sadly I have to replay to get it right. Not a huge issue, I cant figure out how to change it or it isnt available..

I can hardly think enough wonderful things to say about this pronouncing dictionary. Without exception it handles the most incredibly rare and complicated words. For instance tonight I had it pronounce fluocinonide and acetonide. Acetonide does not even appear in my best dictionaries! Yet, how do you say pronounced them both wonderfully. Since I care about saying things correctly, I use this app constantly. Rush out and get it. :-)

I use this app at least twenty times a day. I read a lot and when I spot a word Im not sure how to pronounce, I check it out in Howjsay. I have learned so much using this app. I highly recommend it to all who wish to learn. Love that it keeps track of the words I have looked up.

The pronunciations are correct and the words available fairly comprehensive, but the audio quality is very poor. Its like they got a competent person to record the words, but used the cheapest, tinniest tape recorded from radio shack to record the words with. What a shame; if the audio quality were even half way decent this could be five stars.

As an American who works in classical theatre, I am often called upon to mimic a Brittosh dialect, and I am constantly using Howjsay when doing dialect work. Great for words either unfamiliar, or to refresh myself of others. Love it!

This app is so worth the money. Buy it now!

Why not include definitions; that would be great!!!!!

Please upgrade the audio quality. I felt the need to give five stars because how much it has helped me but it could really be improved with better audio quality and integrated definitions

I am reading medieval Arabic philosophy and, much to my surprise, this app has helped clarify the pronunciations of many words. Also, the voice is remarkably similar to Ralph Fiennes.

Bought for my 7 year to help her w her reading, things I would like to see is an option for slower voice, also an immediate definition when typing word

This app comes in extremely handy to help me with the pronunciation of words in my reading material for college! I use it on the computer often & was excited to see the app so I can use it on the go as well!

Love this app Im a medical student and this is a life saver for some of the words. And with the google look up its just an added bonus

Im a teacher and sometimes run across words that Ive only read and never heard spoken. This app keeps me from making a fool of myself by mispronouncing a word in front of a hundred people, or even worse, teaching them to mispronounce it! Thanks, I have loved using it.
