Very handy app. Its much easier and faster to use than a dictionary. Only suggestion would be a speaker with an American accen. I highly recommend.

This is an amazing tool. The simplicity of only having to tap one button to get access to so many words spoken so clearly is amazing to me. I have struggled with language-decoding words, pronunciation and spelling all my life. Now, Im willing to take the extra five seconds to type in the word and the results have been amazingly empowering. As a University instructor I have always been slightly embarrassed by my learning disability regarding language, now I openly use this in and out of the classroom and my life is better for it.

I love this app because I hate sounding ignorant. Also, when you and a friend disagree about how to pronounce a word, this app has the final say!

Im a voice-actor and use this app nearly every day. Ive tried others, but this is efficient, quick, and accurate. I particularly like the way they give both American and British pronunciations when when the dialects differ. Siri can almost always DEFINE a word or phrase for me, but this app actually allows me to HEAR it. I wouldnt be without it. have to admit though, Siri definitely sounds sexier… --Bob Barnes

I absolutely love this app!! Im taking time out to write a review because this app has become essential. I use this app leisurely and academically just about everyday. I have and will continue to use this app and recommend it to others. I dont even bother with other dictionary apps and it helps me to pronounce pharmacy words for work and school. I appreciate and thank you for making this app!!! Just one suggestion, it would be great if I could create folders for different groups of words (e.g spelling test, top 100 in pharmacy school, SATs etc).
